How to Use the Scrabble Word Finder

Step 1 — Enter your rack letters. Type all the letters from your Scrabble tile rack into the input field. The order does not matter. As you type, visual tiles appear below the input showing each letter with its point value.

Step 2 — Add blank tiles. If you have blank tiles on your rack, type a question mark (?) for each one. Blank tiles can represent any letter but contribute 0 points to the word score.

Step 3 — Click Find Words. The helper scans our entire dictionary and returns every valid word you can make from your tiles. Results are sorted by Scrabble score from highest to lowest.

Scrabble Scoring Guide

Understanding tile values is essential for maximizing your Scrabble score. Each letter has a fixed point value that contributes to your word score before any board multipliers are applied.

Advanced Scrabble Strategies

Save your S tiles. The letter S lets you pluralize an existing word on the board while simultaneously playing a new word. This "hooking" technique lets you score points for two words with a single play.

Use blank tiles wisely. Save blanks for seven-letter words that earn the 50-point bonus (a "bingo"). Our helper shows you which words require blank tiles.

Learn the high-value two-letter words. Words like QI (11 points), ZA (11 points), JO (9 points) are essential for parallel plays.

Watch your vowel-consonant balance. A good rack has roughly equal vowels and consonants. Our helper handles this automatically — enter whatever tiles you have.
